Happy Wednesday Guys!
How are all you beauties on this fine but slightly gloomy July day? I’ve been having a ball in the studio for the past few months, and now I’m looking for a wee bit of lyric inspiration. For today’s Wicked Wednesday I have a small challenge for you lovelies… Post your favourite lyrics from a song below (whether they are funny or sad, beautifully shocking or shockingly beautiful) and then TWEET the link to this blog post on Twitter with #DianaVickersblog … I will then follow five people on Twitter at the end of the day who have shared their favourite lyrics and tweeted the blog link! Here’s some of my favourite lyrics to get you started…
‘Give me an eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Or an ipp, dipp, dog shit, rock and roll’ - Arctic Monkeys, ‘Library Pictures’
‘Ever since this world began, there is nothing sadder than a one- man woman looking for the man that got away.’ - Judy Garland ‘The Man That Got Away’
‘She moves like she don’t care, smooth as silk, cool and air, oooh it makes you wanna cry’ - Blondie, ‘Maria’
‘it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujah’ - Jeff Buckely ‘Hallelujah’
‘I’m the kind of guy that laughs at a funeral, can’t understand what I mean, well you soon will’ - Barenaked Ladies ‘One Week’
Lots of love, Diana xx
